On Friday, a strong spring storm dumped nearly two feet of snow on Anchorage. The Alaska Winter Stars were out enjoying skiing on the new snow at the Hillside Trails. With this much snow, skiing here at sea level might be possible into the first few days of May, with crust skiing in the mountains likely lasting well into June.
