Alexa Turzian

Alexa Turzian switched from alpine to nordic racing in eighth grade, encouraged by her coach, Rick Kapala, and the support of the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. In 2007 Turzian clinched the 2007 10K National Title, in 2009 finished fourth and sixth at the NCAA Championships, and is using the 2009 season to recover before the upcoming Olympic year.
