Fast and Female presented by Best Buy is a not-for-profit organization started in 2005 by Olympic Gold Medal cross-country skier Chandra Crawford. The organization’s mission of “Empowerment Through Sport” is accomplished through fun-filled initiatives. Fast and Female presented by Best Buy is about more than a great time on skis; it’s about building confidence and leadership skills in girls and young women while showing them how much they have to gain from an active lifestyle. · Manage the content for www.fastandfemale.com and all other social communication channels
o Develop story concepts
o Draft stories
o Broadcast the story to Fast and Female’s community and media channels and post stories on the web (www.fastandfemale.com and other online outlets)
· Manage Fast and Female’s Membership Program
o Manage the member database
o Grow the membership program through creative initiatives
o Retain existing members through creative initiatives and ongoing communications (write and publish stories on the website, newsletters, social medias…)
o Respond to online inquiries
