It’s Snowing in West Yellowstone

The Snow Gods are Happy!

The white Valium started to fall around 11am on Thursday and continues to accumulate.  We are waiting with fingers crossed to see how much we get.  The forecast for West Yellowstone looks great.  We are expecting this storm to continue into the night, another one to hit over the weekend, and cold temperatures next week to keep it all.  At this point, we feel confident that the show will go on!

With the 2009 Yellowstone Ski Festival within sight, we are putting on the polishing details to provide you with the best experience possible. This is the year to be here! It is not too late to register for a clinic. Consider a three or five day Nordic clinic to really start your ski season off right. Take in an early season race. We are offering six different races at this year’s ski festival. Online registration is available now. Sign up before Sunday, November 22 to avoid late fees. Check out our schedule of events. Enjoy an array of waxing clinics, movies, yoga & Pilates classes, and presentations. Our schedule is being updated constantly, so check back often. The Indoor Expo is packed with all things Nordic. Visit with those in the know from Rossignol, Salomon, Fischer, Toko, Atomic, Fast Wax, Madshus, Swix, Solda, the U.S. Ski Team, National Guard Biathlon, Sun Valley Nordic Ski Club, Cirrus Aircraft, Lone Mountain Ranch, Nordic Ski Source, Concept 2, Boulder Nordic Sports, FinnHook, Cross Country Skier, Ski Trax, Willie Neal Environmental Fund, Master Skier, and the West Yellowstone Ski Education Foundation. Fill in your wish list at the On-Snow Demo, the largest of its kind. That’s right, your ski pass allows you full access to demo gear on the trails. Be sure to schedule some time so you can sample the latest and greatest from Atomic, Fast Wax, Fischer, Madshus, Rossignol, Salomon, and Swix.

Great lodging options are still offered at www.yellowstonedestination.com.

Don’t forget that shuttle service is available from the Bozeman airport. Pack your gear and leave the driving to the professionals.
