Madshus, the world’s oldest ski company, introduces a redesigned pole line for 2011. The new Madshus poles are athlete-tested and competition-proven. With a focus this season on new strap technologies for the key connection between the hand and the pole, the new Madshus pole line offers unparalleled performance and comfort from World Cup race product to fitness touring.

For skiers in search of the pinnacle of power and performance, the completely redesigned line features the improved grip and security of the all-new Contour Champion and Contour Race Straps. Refined for exceptional control of pole plant and stride, the new 3D Heatmoldable construction conforms perfectly to individual hand shapes, and its softer build makes for easy entry and exit. The neoprene comfort tab prevents strap pinch, and new silicone SuperGrip printing on the inside prevents slipping.

Nano Carbon Race 100 UHM – The new construction of this top-end race pole improves the stiffness by 5% and reduces the weight of the shaft to 58 g/m. Experience exceptional control from the new Contour Champion Strap, redesigned to provide more performance and comfort with less weight. New 10mm basket with its Tungsten Carbide Tip is more aerodynamic to shed snow and reduce swing weight.
