Boulder Nordic Sport (BNS) currently has openings for sales associates and service technicians at our Boulder location. We are looking for skiers who are excited to share their knowledge, experience and passion for skiing with our customers as part of the leading cross-country skiing source in the United States. BNS serves customers across the spectrum from absolute beginners to elite racers—applicants should be willing and able to provide a positive experience to any customer seeking equipment, ski service or advice.
Desired Traits:
- Extensive experience and mastery of both skating and classical skiing techniques
- Strong knowledge base of ski maintenance and waxing
- Experience racing at the high school, college or elite masters level
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment
- Backcountry/alpine touring experience
- Previous retail experience
Job Descriptions:
Retail associate
- Part- and full-time retail associate positions are available approximately October 15-March 15
- Compensation: dependent on experience
Service Technician
- Qualified service technician candidates should be good at working with their hands and have experience working with skis. Service technicians will be trained by BNS’s Racing Service experts and will gain experience at our shops and at events performing ski service.
