ST. PAUL, Minn. — After months of development, Podiumwear Custom Sports Apparel has unveiled a new Gold Collection for Nordic Skiing. The new line of custom apparel is the culmination of a huge effort toward upgrading equipment, techniques, fabric and patterns. The Gold Collection is comprised of four entirely new and innovative products: The Gold Race Suit, Gold Coaches Jacket, Gold Training Jacket and Gold Warm-Up Pants.

“With the entirely new Gold Line, we are offering the latest in fabrics and fit to help improve skiing performance, said Reid Lutter. “Now anyone who wants custom apparel can also have world class apparel. We are excited to be offering three unique lines of custom team apparel for nordic skiers: Gold, Silver and Bronze.”

Key features of the new Gold Race Suit include a whopping 27 panels, stitched with flat seam technology, and Carbon fabric, which has been shown to have anti-microbial properties as well as to induce muscle recovery. In addition, Podiumwear offers multiple thread color options for the new contrast flat-seam stitching on this suit. Simply put, this is the most impressive custom race suit available today.

Podiumwear is also extremely excited to offer, for the first time, a custom jacket to serve the specific needs of the nordic coach. The soft-shell Gold Coaches Jacket is the perfect jacket for coaches who want to match their team, but need a little extra warmth while out on the course all day. The fabric is a heavy-weight bonded soft-shell material with a gray fleece interior that is sure to keep coaches comfortably warm whether they are waxing or out taking splits. This jacket also has a special pocket for your mp3 device.

In addition to the Gold Race Suit and Coaches Jacket, a newly-designed Gold Training Jacket and Gold Warm-Up Pants are part of the Collection. Both are highly breathable with special push/pull technology to wick sweat and moisture while keeping warmth in. The Gold Jacket has a fleece-lined collar, internal mesh lining in the chest area, articulated elbows and zippered hip pockets. The Gold Warm-Up Pants come fully loaded with full-length side zippers, a back zippered pocket and articulated knee construction.

“We have a ton of exciting things happening right now,” said Jessica Lutter, Director of Sales and Marketing. The Gold Collection, the Team Storefront, another Open House coming up in October, a newly designed web site. It’s really thrilling! We’ve put in so much work. We are very happy with the results and are excited for our clients and for the future.”
