(Birkie.com press release)

Update as of 12/6 – There are still a limited number available.

Call JDRF at 1-866-233-3354.

(Several people who intially signed up for a “Second Chance” entry were not able to use it because of injury or work conflict, so those few entries are being offered again. Call now to sign up or click below! The fundraising deadline has also been extended to January 11.)

On October 18, right after registration closed for the 2013 Birkie and Kortelopet races, we made the following announcement: “JDRF, the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, is the Birkie’s new Skiers For Cures partner for the next three years. As a way to help kick-off this fundraising effort and help skiers who did not get a 2013 Birkie or Korte entry on time, JDRF and the Birkie have arranged to make 50 entries available through JDRF’s “Second Chance” program.

Here’s how it works. Raise a minimum of just $500 for JDRF by the extended deadline of January 11 and its research to cure diabetes and receive one of these remaining entries to the Birkie or Korte, your choice.
