NORDEN, Calif. — Watch Kris Freeman (Maine Winter Sports Center/U.S. Ski Team) battle Andy Newell (SMS T2/USST) and Einar Ulsund (University of Utah/NOR) for the national title in the 50 k classic on the last day at spring series on Thursday. Freeman pulled away in the last 5 k to beat Newell by almost a minute.
