GEAR WEST NORDIC SUMMER CAMP 2013

July 12th, 13th and 14th

Improve your Nordic skiing during the summer months at the Gear West Nordic Summer Camp.  The Summer Camp will focus on technique, summer training, ski knowledge, wax and ski service, and having a fun filled weekend with fellow skiers.  Come prepared to learn and improve your skiing potential.

Join Olympic Hopeful Matt Liebsch for the Gear West Nordic Summer Camp on July 12th thru the 14th.  The exciting weekend will included presentations on training, ski and wax servicing, ski fit, and an open Q & A.  Bryan Fish will be making a presentation, “The Strides to U.S. Skiing Success.”  The talk will include outlining a clear path from youth to international success, discussing training principles, organizational structure, and staffing/team cohesion that have provided the positive momentum in skiing talent, particularly at the World Cup level.

The Gear West Nordic Camp will also include skate and classic rollerski technique sessions with video analysis and individualized coaching.  Enroll now for this exciting weekend of training, learning, great company, food, and fun!

Presenters Include:

Bryan Fish: Currently the Development Team Coach for the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team. Formerly the head coach of the CXC Elite Team and UW-Green Bay Nordic Ski Team.

Matt Liebsch: Olympic Hopeful for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Matt is racing for XC United Borton Volvo and is Gear West’s very own xc ski expert.

Piotr Bednardski: Legendary Midwest nordic coach and head coach of Loppet Nordic Racing in Minneapolis.
