PARK CITY, Utah (Nov. 11) — Women’s Ski Jumping USA athletes will be well prepared for the World Cup season and the Olympic Winter Games thanks to the exciting new support of the Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP), better known as the got chocolate milk? campaign.
Chocolate milk has been named the Official Refuel Beverage of Women’s Ski Jumping USA, whose athletes will be featured in the new national BUILT WITH CHOCOLATE MILK™ campaign, which debuts this week.
“We’re incredibly honored to partner with got chocolate milk?,” said Robbie Beck, Women’s Ski Jumping USA executive director. “This is a hugely significant sponsorship for our athletes who regularly need that critical refuel boost to their training and competition regimen as well as the organization’s ability to provide the essential resources athletes need to be the best.”
The new print, television, online and in-store campaign features Women’s Ski Jumping USA athletes and USA Hockey star Zach Parise. In addition, a webisode series at www.gotchocolatemilk.com shares an exclusive look at how Women’s Ski Jumping USA athletes are building up to represent their country on the biggest stage in sports.
Research supports what elite athletes have known for years, that drinking lowfat chocolate milk after strenuous exercise helps athletes refuel and rebuild their bodies so they’re ready to go all out in their next workout or competition.
“Our nation’s brightest medal hopefuls are following what many elite athletes have been doing for years – refueling with chocolate milk,” said Miranda Abney, Marketing Director at MilkPEP, the group behind the new campaign.
“Now, we want to show athletes from all sports that their personal athletic goals can be built with hard work, dedication and a recovery routine that includes chocolate milk, which is scientifically shown to help you refuel and recover after a strenuous workout.”
