Welcome to the first Peter Hale Memorial Race & Tour. Peter was a dearly loved figure here in the American Nordic ski community. His love of the sport, determination and genial nature made him an industry icon. He was generous with his time and knowledge with new ski programs, promising Nordic racers, ski shops, and just anyone that loved this lifetime sport. We are thankful here in Seeley Lake for the support and faith he had in our little ski community, it has made all the difference.
The Peter Hale Memorial Race & Tour is a fundraiser for Seeley Lake ROCKS, a non-profit organization dedicated to building healthy children, strong families and a vibrant community by providing access to outdoor recreational opportunities.
The course is a 22K loop consisting of rolling terrain and a challenging up-hill climb midway through the course. Elevation change throughout the course is approximately 1,000 ft, with the majority of this change within a 3.2K hill. After the long hill (540 ft. elevation gain), enjoy the rolling descent with beautiful views.
Rich Ranch has a heated lodge for us to use and hot food for purchase after the race. Awards Ceremony to be held at the Rich Ranch
