Zach Caldwell waxed for the US Ski team at Sochi using the Woodski foot clamp and here is what he had to say about it:

The clamp worked great…When I showed you my pneumatic clamp in my shop, and asked whether you thought you could do a portable one, I was thinking about just what a convenience it is, and how much I miss it on the road. This winter I’ve had the chance to use the foot pedal at US Nationals, and at the Olympics. I’ve got to say, you nailed it! Thanks so much for putting this into action for me (and everybody else smart enough to jump on the bandwagon)!
