French rollerski star and World Cup technician Romain Claudon passed away Sunday after sustaining injuries in a mountain bike crash in the Alps. The 24-year-old was part of the French World Cup support team in the 2014/2015 season, which helped the country’s 4 x 10 k relay to a repeat bronze medal at the 2015 World Championships. Claudon was also a talented athlete, claiming three victories on the Rollerski World Cup circuit from 2012 to 2013.

Below is a video created by France’s Nordic Magazine and Nordic TV in remembrance of Claudon.
