Nordic Groomer/ Grounds Technician
This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, Snow Mountain Ranch, which operates a mission-based family and group conference, retreat center, and residential camp, serving more than 50,000 guests annually. The Nordic Groomer/Grounds Technician is primarily responsible for assisting the Grounds Supervisors to ensure all grounds and trails are maintained and available year-round to guests and staff. This role includes grooming winter trails, grounds and trails upkeep, snow removal, and fleet maintenance. Must have general knowledge of welding and grooming Nordic ski trails, operating snowmobiles, and shoveling snow. Minimum 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment and 3-5 years’ experience operating snow cats. This is a year-round, fully benefitted position paying $18.00 – $21.30/hour with generous PTO/vacation, health insurance, ski and golf passes, and YMCA membership.
