Though biathletes have already seen action in recent races in Sjusjoen Norway—and on the Schutzenski rollerski course at Soldier Hollow, Utah—the real World Cup action only begins this coming weekend. The BMW IBU World Cup Schedule begins November 25 in Ostersund, Sweden, and FasterSkier is eager to provide information on how North American biathlon fans can view those events via live streaming.
IBU World Cups and World Championships
According to Sara Donatello—USBA Communications Coordinator—Eurovision Sports is the most efficient live stream feed for all IBU events. “It is free to viewers in North America,” said Donatello. “I would also recommend for fans and viewers to download the IBU App (How to Watch info is on our website) providing live range updates, athlete bios, results, rankings, etc. Very helpful for someone watching biathlon for the first time or simply looking for detailed information.”
“We also have a Spectator Resources page on our website,” Donatello said. “And we’re currently working on a FAQ page (that should be up soon).”
On February 7-18, biathlon fans will converge upon Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Republic, for the BMW IBU World Championships. As we did in 2023, FasterSkier will have reporters present at those 2024 World Championship events to offer a live view of all the action. Stay tuned, biathlon fans . . .
