Far West Elite Team Call for Athlete Applications

The Far West Elite Team is now accepting applications for the 2014-15 race season. We are looking for highly-motivated skiers who are passionate about the sport and capable of being role models and mentors in our community.

These athletes are an essential part of our mission to produce a high level training, racing, and cross country skiing environment in the Far West Division. They will be working closely within the divisional Ski Clubs by volunteering and assisting coaches at junior practices. This is especially important for the perpetual motivation and development of our junior skiers. They will also help elevate the quality of Master skiing in our area by providing support with clinics, coaching and race/training events.

Far West is excited to offer the selected athletes up to $2000 for race expenses and a partial living subsidy.

Applications are due by July 21. The team will be named on August 1.
