For more than 50 years, the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage has promoted healthy lifestyles and all forms of Nordic skiing, as well as introduced Alaskans to cross-country skiing through learn-to-ski programs, ski races and local, national and international skiing events. NSAA also grooms and maintains more than 150 kilometers of trails in the Anchorage area. Our new Executive Director will take our organization to new heights and build on the momentum that will carry us into the next 50 more years.
The NSAA ED must possess a passion for, and commitment to, providing programs, events and trails that inspire and offer opportunities to improve the health of Nordic skiers and Alaskans in all seasons. The NSAA ED is responsible for the overall implementation of NSAA’s mission. The ED’s job responsibilities include developing and implementing the overall strategy and vision for NSAA and all organizational and operational aspects of NSAA including its administration, financial management, revenue generation, program and event development and activities, operations of trail maintenance and snowmaking, personnel management, and strategic planning.
