The World Cup continues with races in Val di Fiemme this weekend and the Canadian team will race the relays.
The Canadian Olympic team left for Europe on Monday and the women will race the 4 x 5 kilometer and the men the 4 x 10 kilometer World Cup relays in Val di Fiemme on Sunday January 15.
Sara Renner traveled over in late December and will race the individual 15-k mass-start skate race on Saturday as well, while the rest of the team is expected to skip the individual races.
The Canadians spent the first couple days in Pontresina and left for Val di Fiemme on Thursday.
This weekends World Cup races:
Saturday 14: 15/30-kilometer freestyle mass-start
Sunday 15: 4 x 5 and 4 x 10-kilometer mixed relays (2 legs classic, 2 legs freestyle)
