Kuzzy Wins NorAm

Silver Star, British Columbia – Garrott Kuzzy (USST/CXC Team Vertical Limit) was back on top of the Continental Cup podium after sitting out the last race to train.  James Southam (Atomic/APU) followed up last week’s victory in Bozeman with a strong 2nd today.  Matt Leibsch (CXC Team Vertical Limit) was 3rd, his first podium finish of the season.

Kuzzy continues to dominate the North American Continental Cup circuit, winning his 4th race in five starts.  His other finish was a 2nd.

Southam is showing the form that led him his first World Cup points last season, and solid results at the World Championships.  He won the 15km classic in Bozeman (the race which Kuzzy missed) and was 2nd today.

Leibsch’s best performance of the year had been a 5th in the West Yellowstone 15km classic.
