While back at home…

Since I’ve been home I’ve been skiing with a bunch of local kids – during their school recess, regular Bill Koch and Dewey ski practices and out at our local ski areas – Mt. Van Hoevenburg and Dewey Mtn. br /br /I had enough bibs when I skied with Pat Gallagher’s Bill Koch kids for each one of them to get to ski with a World Cup or an Olympic bib. br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCiuDczdI/AAAAAAAAA5k/fjHcVv2S6E4/s1600-h/IMG_0963.JPG”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;” src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCiuDczdI/AAAAAAAAA5k/fjHcVv2S6E4/s320/IMG_0963.JPG” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447176913550101970″ //abr /br /I’ve been connecting with the Lake Placid Elementary 4th grade class all year and this week I got to join them for a ski during gym class. In addition to skiing around the soccer field they taught me tennis ball biathlon. br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCjMgludI/AAAAAAAAA50/YGZizS3eH2E/s1600-h/skiing+at+school+045.jpg”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 190px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCjMgludI/AAAAAAAAA50/YGZizS3eH2E/s320/skiing+at+school+045.jpg” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447176921725385170″ //abr /br /And we also chatted a lot during our skis; the weather was gorgeous, blue skies and sunny, and way more fun than sitting inside. br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCjX4juSI/AAAAAAAAA58/wpxgXOISdt4/s1600-h/skiing+at+school+062.jpg”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 215px; height: 320px;” src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCjX4juSI/AAAAAAAAA58/wpxgXOISdt4/s320/skiing+at+school+062.jpg” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447176924778707234″ //abr / br /And then, our communities got together and hosted a parade for local Olympians! All together it was a pretty awesome first week at home. br /a onblur=”try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}” href=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCiyzWCoI/AAAAAAAAA5s/8Yt3l1wS4x4/s1600-h/IMG_4528.jpg”img style=”display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;” src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_k1DHbqzFvCE/S5hCiyzWCoI/AAAAAAAAA5s/8Yt3l1wS4x4/s320/IMG_4528.jpg” border=”0″ alt=””id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5447176914824727170″ //adiv class=”blogger-post-footer”img width=’1′ height=’1′ src=’https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/1362992899157556571-6901853395790852851?l=comeskiwithme.blogspot.com’ alt=” //div
