The Continental Cup Team will kick off the winter this season in West Yellowstone, MT with athletes arriving to town between November 14th and the 16th. With ten of eleven team members in attendance at this first weekend of Super Tour races, the opportunity for excellent early-season competition will be waiting. While some members of the team will travel back to college after the races in West, the rest of the team will remain on the Super Tour / Continental Cup tour with additional races in Silver Star, BC, Bozeman, MT, and Soldier Hollow, UT before some down time at home over Christmas.
The team will reconvene after Christmas for US Nationals in Houghton, and for those meeting selection criteria, again in Canmore, AB for the January World Cups. Athletes qualifying for WJ/U23 Championships in February may miss the January World Cups and focus on the Championships in Poland. Following a stint in Europe on the Continental Cup, the team will return to North America to compete in March in both Canadian Nationals and US Long Distance Nationals.
