Fall Camp – Days 4 & 5

lizkantackDecember 9, 2011
Two more productive days under our belt here in Colorado. On Wednesday we did an easy skate ski in the morning and the weather was awesome – it finally warmed up into the double digits! We took Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning off. We’re training at 8700 feet which has been an adjustment for almost everyone, so quality rest is key this week. We spent our off afternoon and morning getting more rest, doing some laundry, grocery shopping, catching up on homework, watching a few movies, and baking. On Thursday afternoon we had everyone out working with the coaches on dialing in their kick zones. We set up shop on a nice stretch of track and experimented with cutting back, adding more kick, etc. to get everyone to a place they were psyched about with their skis. Stay tuned for more from Colorado – pictures of the boys coming soon!
