This afternoon we headed down to Brattleboro for our final regular season cross country race of the season. For anyone reading this in the New England area, you know that today’s weather was quite rainy and Brattleboro, VT was no exception. We drove through a downpour on our way to the race, but our team arrived psyched to run and make the best of some challenging weather. Racer of the day goes to Tyler Foulkes who is rebounding from illness and took third today in the race and 2nd for SMS runners. Tyler started off with his trademark conservative start, but seemed to make his move earlier than normal and cruised through the course, moving into third with a K to go. Way to go T-bone!

Kudos to Jack & Katharine who led our team today by winning their races! They were backed up by strong performances across the board from all their teammates. Final results coming soon!
Quick team picture before the starting gun! Boys & girls ran together today in this small three team meet.
And they’re off!

Though it was quite the rainy day, it actually wasn’t that cold. Warm enough for a shirtless cool down anyway!
