New form Swix 2009 is an improved FC8: FC8X which covers the important range from +4°C. -4°C 25F to 40F. This is the original Cera F that has a new and improved formula developed through extensive testing by our Racing Service Team on the World Cup circuit. Designed for increased performance in new and transformed snow along with increased durability. The new FC8X has had extensive success on both the World Cup this season and dominating performances at the Norwegian Nationals this past January. FC8X requires new higher Ironing temperatures one of the reasons for it’s increased
durability. As with all powder fluorocarbon waxes care needs to be taking during
application.
The new Swix FC8X wax is a Fall 09 product, but a limited amount will be available at select Mid-West retailers starting the evening of Monday Feb 16th for use in the upcoming American Birkebeiner.
