HAYWARD, Wis. (Feb. 18, 2015) – Due to cold weather, the Junior Birkie races will start one hour later at 10:00 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m. as originally scheduled on Friday, Feb. 20. Start times have also been compressed.
The Barnebirkie will go off as scheduled at 12:30 p.m.
New Junior Birkie start times are listed below:
10:00 a.m. U12 & U14 Boys 3 km
10:05 a.m. U12 & U14 Girls 3 km
10:10 a.m. U16 Boys & Girls 3 km
10:15 a.m. U19 Boys & Girls 5 km
10:25 a.m. U10/8 Boys & Girls 1.5 km
11:00 a.m. Junior Relay
Online registration for the Junior Birkie will close at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19. Skiers can pick up race bibs at the National Guard Armory in Hayward starting at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20.
The Junior Birkie starts at 9 a.m. near the Hayward Primary School and finishes on Main Street.
