Pietro Piller Cottrer of Italy won the Austria Dolomitenlauf this weekend. The Dolomitenlauf is the second stop on the FIS Marathon Circuit.
It was an all-Italian victory celebration as he was followed by three other Italians before the first Austrian made it home. Lara Peyrot, also Italian, won the women's race.
A good number of Americans finished the race, lead by David Aschwanden in 17th and Kevin Hochtl in 34th. There were over 700 finishers in the skate race.
