Masters Nationals Ready To Roll in Anchorage

FasterSkierFebruary 19, 2003

There are very few places in North America that could hold a national ski event
during one of their worst snow years. Fortunately for Masters Nationals, Anchorage
is one of those places. The Anchorage Organizing Committee and AXCS have been
working tirelessly to make the event a success.

An excellent track has been groomed at Glen Alps (about 25 minutes from
downtown Anchorage) which will be used for the first couple of races. It is
an amazing setting, skiing amoung the Chugach mountain peaks, with a view from
the trail head that looks out over the entire Anchorage Bowl. These pictures
of the Glen Alps track were taken this weekend.

As always, for Official up-to-date information on the races, got to xcskiworld.com's
National Masters Section.
