WEST YELLOWSTONE, Mont. (Nov. 28) — Dave Chamberlain (Bethel, ME) outsprinted Chris Cook (Rhinelander, WI) over the final stretch Friday to win a 15K classic technique SuperTour race while Wendy Wagner (Park City, UT) won the women's 10K CL by more than a minute and a half.
With temperatures in the upper 20s, Chamberlain, a member of the last two world championships teams, was timed in 41:06.8 for the three-lap race with Cook second in 41:10.2. Justin Freeman (Andover, NH) took third in 41:17.7. Wagner won the women's two-loop race in 30:13.4 with Rebecca Dussault (Gunnison, CO) second in 31:56.9.
