Dussault Wins Again, Zimmerman Wins His First Nor Am
FasterSkierDecember 15, 2003 — Rebecca Dussault (Gunnison, CO) made it two wins in two races Sunday, winning the women's 10K freestyle race at the $100,000 SuperTour series on the Olympic courses at Soldier hollow while promising junior Leif Zimmerman (Bozeman, MT) was the men's 15K winner.<P><br />
In the women's race, Rebecca Dussault continued her comeback from a few years off from racing with a dominating win. Dussault, who won the women's classic technique sprint Saturday, finished the 10K skate in 24:12.0 with Katrin Smigun, the reigning NCAA champion for the University of Utah and a former World Cup skier for Estonia, second in 25:05.4. The rest of the top five: Kikkan Randall (Anchorage, AK), Aubrey Smith (Seward, AK) and Irene Eder (Bozeman, MT).</p>
