One Million Swedes Watched The Stockholm Sprint Races

Live sprint races are a big hit in Europe. Skidsport.com (Sweden) reports that approximately one million Swedes watched Wednesday’s World Cup Sprint races around the Royal Castle in Stockholm.

There were approximately 30,000 spectators at the event and approximately 930.000 (or about 15% of the entire population) chose to watch the races on television

Eurosport television also had live coverage across Europe adding (many) millions to this number.
