Thursday's Skate Race:
Trini Lundamo – New Mexico
Lowell Bailey – Vermont – 10k Skate second place
Saturday's race was grueling to watch, much less ski. VERY hard course, rocket conditions in the morning for the men that was hard to retain the klister, and then slush for the women, some of whom had to be treated for HEATSTROKE during the race it was so warm. Great  for spectating, though! These poor folks are leaving California today thinking that all we ever ski in is 60 degree temps and blue skies. They must wonder where all the white stuff on the ground comes from.
