National Team Skiers In Rollerski Race On Running Track

Norwegian National team members went head-to-head with other top skiers in a 400-meter classic rollerski sprint race at Kristiansand Stadium last Sunday. The race was a part of the entertainment before the tip off of an elite series soccer match. Racers included the entire Norwegian sprint team and Kristen Skjeldal from the regular team as well as members of Team Impuls.
 
Arnstein Finnstad from Team Impuls won the rollerski sprint with a respectable 53 seconds lap. Second was Havard Bjerkli with Tor Arne Hetland in third. Borre Naess broke his pole in the first turn and was last in the final.

A 3000- meter running races with many of the same participants were held during half time.  Results from the 3000- meter which included sprint premiums:
