Canadians Have Strong Showing In New Zealand

Merino Muster Ski Race Results – New Zealand

Sara Renner won the women’s race at the New Zealand 21-kilometer Snow Rake freestyle race last Saturday while Andrew Johnson won the men’s 42- kilometer Merino Muster.

Renner won the women’s race is convincing style, beating second place finisher Rebecca Dussault (USA) by  3.25 minutes. Dasha Gaiazova was third.

The men’s race was a lot tighter with Andrew Johnson (USA) finishing first with Devon Kershaw (Canada) in second, 35 seconds behind and Adam Kates in third.

Conditions were great with sun and cold dry snow.
