Swedish SkidSport.com reports that World Cup winner and World Champion Per Elofsson (Sweden) will not participate in the Swedish team’s upcoming training camp at Bruksvallarna.
Elofsson sited overtraining for poor early season results last winter and stopped racing before Christmas in order to recover.
– Per is choosing not to train with the other national team skiers yet. He is still not training at the other skiers’ volume, and the plan calls for “heavy” training at this camp, explains national team coach, Per Erik Ronnestrand.

<p>The women’s team is having their camp in Sundsvall, separate from the men’s camp.<br />
– Anna Dahlberg and Elin Ek are both looking good. Jenny Olsson has chosen to live and train in Davos, Switzerland. All 16 women’s team members will be at this upcoming high intensity camp. Only Lina Andersson and Emelie Ohrstig have struggled with some long-term sickness this summer, says Ronnestrand. </p>
