The sprint World Cup opener in Düsseldorf, Germany is less than a month away and the Norwegian men sprint team was racing rollerski time-trials in both individual and sprint- relay at a camp in Meraker last weekend.

The camp is followed by a few easy training days before the team leaves for another altitude camp in Val Senales, Italy on October 3.

– We did a bit more competition-specific training at this camp, said sprint coach Ulf Morten Aune.

The test were done in both classic (individual) and skating (team sprint). Strongest at the camp was impuls-team skier Johan Kjolstad (21). He is selected to race the World Cup opener on October 23 and 24.
