Cross country skiers beat the rollerski experts in a very competitive top international field including skiers from The Czech Republic, Finland, Austria and Italy in the Sportful Rollerski race at Croce d’Aune Pass, Bergamo, Italy on October 10. Â
 also confirmed being bothered by the slippery conditions, but was very encouraged and happy about his best ever placing in this race.</p>
<p>– I’m getting better every year, but the skiers have better balance and technique from years of skiing on snow said Alfio.</p>
<p>Â – I know this is only a rollerski race, but it confirms that I’m in shape and this is a World Championship season, said Pietro Piller.</p>
<p>Christian Zorzi initiated the break from the pack, but his lead didn’t last long. Piller suddenly took over and broke up the lead group as he did in last year’s World Cup race in Sestola. Â Â </p>
<p> “There was nothing to do, said Di Gregorio. We simply couldn’t keep up.  </p>
