Kelly Milligan of Team TorbjornSport doubled up and raced both the Continental Cup and the Wasatch citizen race at Soldier Hollow on December 12. The 5-kilometer classic Continental cup race started at 9 am and Kelly placed 19th, 1.48 minutes behind the winner Beckie Scott. A few hours later she was on the starting line again, this time for the 10-kilometer citizen classic race where she posted the fastest women’s time by several minutes. Four days later she placed 10th in the Continental Cup 15-kilometer pursuit/duathlon. Not bad for a full time working mom, and watch out Olympic hopefuls!
