World Cup Start Rights Awarded to SuperTour Racers

Six athletes, including a Russian and Swiss skier, have been invited to take part in the World Cup based on their performance in the SuperTour so far this season. The leaders of the SuperTour (top-3) after the competitions in Mount Itasca, MN have been personally invited by FIS to take part in all of the World Cup competitions after March 1 this year. These competitions include the famous Holmenkollen marathon, and downtown sprint races in Oslo and Gothenberg.

The three women who have qualified are Rebecca Dussault (Gunnison, CO), Karin Camenisch (SUI) and Lindsay Williams (Marquette, MI). The men are Ivan Babikov (RUS), Chad Giese (Mora, MN) and David Chamberlain (Bethel, ME).
