Anders Aukland has struggled all season as a result of a virus infection. He made the Norwegian World Championship team on discretion and is trying to get in shape for the 50-kilometer classic at Worlds. He raced a good relay at the Norwegian championship and won the Koasalauf 42-kilometer classic marathon race in St. Johan by 1 minute to second place race this weekend.
