Nakkertok Nordic has established a new Coaching Position and is looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team. Nakkertok Nordic is the largest ski club in the Ottawa-Gatineau region with 70 participants in its Racing Program that range in age from 9 to 19 as well as a Masters Program with 30 participants. Our team members race regularly at Regional and Provincial level races and once per year at the National Championships.
Requirements
• Minimum NCCP level 3 or equivalent
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work well with volunteers
• Knowledge of CCC Athlete Development Model
• Drivers licence
Preference will be given to candidates who also have:
• Ability to communicate in both English and French
• Demonstrated ability to monitor athletes
• Skills related to Coaching Development
• Experience coaching in a Club setting
Salary and Benefits
• Salary range of $2000 to $3000 per month
• Possible use of a vehicle
• Minimum length of contract from September, 2005 through March 2006
• Possible ability to augment summer contract hours with employment at OWL White Water Rafting Company
