ROLLERSKI: IN THE OPENINING RACE OF THE SEASON 2005 DOUBLE SUCCESS FOR RUSSIA!

Today took place in Cesis (Latvia) the first stage of the FIS Rollerski World Cup. After a first prologue disturbed a bit by rain shower, the Russian team took the two first places in senior categories.

SENIOR MEN

3. Pension Julies — ITA 19’10”
4. Kukrus Andrey — RUS 19’18”
5. Alfio Di Gregorio — ITA 19’30”

SENIOR WOMEN
1. Vedeneva Elena — RUS 14’37”
2. Rodina Elena — RUS 14’59”
3. Druidi Viviana — ITA 15’22”

In the junior category great results from Turkey with the success of Muhammed Kizilarslan; second place for Johan Andersson from Sweden and the Italian Matteo Fontana. In the same race but in the female version, fisrt place for Matalie Rissema from Nederland in front of Italian Ana Kosuta and Esra Gunes fron Turkey.

Junior WOMEN
1. Natalie Rissema — NED 17’06”
2. Ana Kosuta — ITA 17’36”

Next competition will be held Saturday with the sprint race and pursuit on Sunday.
