Bids from PyeongChang, South Korea, and Salzburg, Austria, hold big leads over five other rivals in the race for the 2014 Olympics, according to the Around the Rings Olympics Bid Power Index. The rating is the first of the campaign by ATR.

The index is the only authoritative, independent ranking of cities bidding for the Olympic Games. The Power Index, developed by Around the Rings editor Ed Hula, rates the 2014 bid cities in 11 categories ranging from accommodations to venues.
