Angerer And Kunzel Won The German Fall Running Test

The annual German fall test is taking place this weekend. Tobias Angerer won the men’s running time-trial while Claudia Kunsel Nystad won the women’s event on Saturday.

The German team is as usual putting in solid training. This weekend is the annual fall test for all German youth, juniors and World Cup skiers.

The men ran 10-kilometer in tough terrain at the Grenzadler stadium and Tobias Angerer won ahead of Andres Stitz and Jens Filbrich. Axel Teichman was fourth. Frans Goring, Andreas Schlutter and Rene Sommerfeldt sat out due to stomach problems.

Claudia Kunzel Nystad won the women’s 5-kilometer race 10 seconds ahead of Evi Stehle Sachenbacher.

The rollerski time-trial takes place on Sunday.
