Aukland Won Hill Climb

Last season’s 50-kilometer silver medallist at Worlds, Anders Aukland beat the Norwegian cross country running champion and several elite skiers to win the Mosviksenderen running hill climb last weekend.

Aukland won by beating the Norwegian cross country running champion, Trond Idland and setting a new course record of 20.54, an improvement of the old record by 1 minute and 4 seconds.

The women’s race was won by runner Anita Hakenstad Evertsen in 25,17. This was also a new course record. National team skier Kine Beate Bjornaas was second.
