Tour De Ski Will End With Hill Climb

In January of the 2007 FIS has decided to create a circuit of 8 races called Tour de Ski 2007. The races will be carried out one each day from the 5th to the 14th of January and will be all count towards the 2006/2007 World Cup.

The event wil consist of sprint races, classic distance races, and mass start races. For each race, skiers will win points and accumulate total time in competition for a grand prize.

Three of these stages will take place in Italy. One sprint to Asiago, one mass start in Val di Fiemme, and a new race for the World Cup: a classic race on the distance of 15 Km for the males and 10 for the wmoen which will end with a long climb up the alpine ski trails Alpe Cermis.
