The junior skiers in Meraker, Norway did a 4.1 kilometer long skate rollerski time-trial on Sunday. World and Olympic champion Frode Estil started as well and ended up 59 seconds (!) behind last year’s junior World Champion Petter Northug jr.
– Petter is incredible in skating on rollerskis. I tried my best, but had no chance against him today. It was regardless a good hard workout for me as well. I’m on track and is looking forward to start the season, says Frode Estil, which believes that Northug will be allowed to race the World Cup opening races at Beitostolen
