<b>1) Does SKI OIL need a heated in paraffin based wax as base?</b><br />
NO, SKI OIL is designed to be used on any dry base. A heated in base wax is fine, but not necessary. </p>
<p><b>2) How many cross country ski pairs can be waxed with a (small) 25 ml SKI OIL container?</b><br />
About 10 pair </p>
<p><b>3) Is it really true, that SKI OIL can last for 50 km in fresh snow without any loss in performance?</b><br />
Absolutely true! One of the ski technicians for the Italian cross country team just confirmed that his skiers have used it in two consecutive long workouts in newfallen snow without reapplying or loss of glide. </p>
<p><b>4) Have you thought of adding fluorine to SKI OIL?</b><br />
No, we view SKI OIL as training, fun and easy to apply product with very good glide and excellent dirt-repellence. High level skiers won’t use it for serious racing, but we don’t see why recreational skiers without all the waxing tools like irons and wax benches shouldn’t use it in their racing. Nothing is easier to apply than Ski Oil!<br />
Consider SOLDA high-end easy to use spray waxes <a href=http://www.torbjornsport.com/store/fluor.html)
5) How should I apply SKI OIL?
Put a few drops of SKI OIL on the enclosed sponge and polish for 30-60 seconds. Let it dry for a few minutes and you are ready to go! No ironing, brushing or scraping! Innovative, long lasting and easy to use. You can apply SKI OIL on a wet skibase, however a dry base is recommended. Applying Ski Oil in the evening for next day’s skiing will increase the durability.
