Koos And Newell Ready For Classic Sprint In Estonia

Quick report from the US sprint team before Sunday’s classic World Cup sprint in Otepaa, Estonia.

The World Cup continues on Sunday with Classic sprint. US Skiers Torin Koos and Andy Newell will be racing and we were able to get a few comments from US coach Trond Nystad on Saturday.

Trond:

– We are in Otepaa and are getting ready to race tomorrow. The boys are in
great shape and are healthy so it will be exiting to see how they can do in
a classical sprint. The weather has been for the most part great. We got
some new snow on Monday – since then it has been around -5 to -10 Celsius.
The humidity is very high and lots of fog, so we will probably end up racing
on fairly soft kick wax or klister covered.
