“We knew that this was going to be the year of OPERATION DONNERSCHLAGE,” pointed out Atomic’s International Race Director, Peter Juric. “We have been dominating international racing like crazy this year. Team Atomic take first and second in World Loppet opener in China and in World Cup XC we have huge lead over everybody else. Tobias Angerer has 585 points after his win in Val di Fiemme last weekend. That make him 130 points ahead of second place guy.”

“I tell you this because this is what I say,” pointed out Juric. “The top Norwegian and German skiers, you give them fast skis and they come back and shrug the shoulders and say the ski is maybe good, maybe bad. The Americans, you give them test skis and they come back with good information and long talk about the right way to make it work. The Americans are like the smart kids in school all the teachers like. They help us very much in making new profile and design. That Wendy Wagner has much finesse. She is like ballet dancer in Vienna, very good technical feel for skis. American Chris Cook is big strong guy who is hard on skis. He give us good input for maximum pushing skis hard.”

champion@atomic-usa.com “We have our top World Cup race technician, Roman Toferer, hand pick these skis for you at Atomic factory race room. We make sure Roman clean the Bratwurst grease off his fingers before he do this. No American want Roman’s greasy fingerprints on their new race skis. But he very good at picking race skis.”
